We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers.nnThe ideal candidate should have a valid CDL Class A license, a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills.nnForklift experience is required.nnAvailable Shift: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nightsnnStart Time: 6:00pm - 4:00amnnPayrate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOEnnKey Responsibilities:nnOperate a CDL-certified vehicle for scheduled Night Linehauls, including:nnBirmingham to Montgomery and back to Mobile: Pickup and drop-off on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.nFriday nights to Jackson, Mississippi: Pickup and drop-off with a return trip to Mobile.nnServe as a backup driverfor any additional Linehauls or routes as needed, ensuring all critical deliveries are completed.nnConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies.nnAccurately log hours and maintain documentation in line with DOT regulations.nnCommunicate effectively with dispatch and terminal management to address any adjustments to routes, delays, or issues that arise during runs.nnQualification and Requirements: - - Two Years' tractor trailer Class A experience is required! - **CDL (Commercial Driver's License):** To be CDL driver, you'll need a valid CDL Class A license and must be able to safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations - Availability to work the specified schedule and flexibility to cover additional routes when required. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. - Must be able to read, write and speak English. - Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc. - Must have the ability to properly operate a handheld device when required. - Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems. - Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods of time. - Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation. - Must have previous forklift experience. **Additional Information:** ** This position offers a stable schedule with structured routes.
