Position Purpose:
Truck Driver is responsible for delivering food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate and interact with customers and vendors professionally
- Perform all required safety checks
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
Qualifications:
12+ months commercial driving experience
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Valid CDL A
21 years of age
Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and background check
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card
Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases/freight
