Join Clean Harbors as a Regional Class B Utility Driver and become a vital part of a team dedicated to providing premier environmental, energy, and industrial services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and compliance while operating a Class B Tanker Truck, Box Trucks, or Lube Delivery Truck, traveling up to 3 weeks per month with 1 week at home. The position is essential for route coverage in your designated district, as well as supporting other districts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all policies and safe work practices.
• Efficiently operate commercial trucks and support field laborers as needed in a collaborative team environment.
• Load and unload trucks while demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Act as a backup driver for various routes in the region when necessary.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and compliance reports.
• Observe all local, state/provincial, and federal compliance regulations.
• Participate in emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials and participate in site remediation and equipment decontamination as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Class B CDL.
• Must be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel extensively, spending up to 3 weeks away from home.
• Meet the physical demands of the position.
• Undergo background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Comply with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards regarding facial hair.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a commercial driver.
• Experience with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Previous experience in handling hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience in manual labor positions.
