The Web Designer/Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. Overall, the web design/developer is responsible for maintaining website functionality and aesthetics to promote maximum DoD user interaction and collaboration.nnSpecific duties and responsibilities of this full-time position include:nnWriting efficient Python, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, and/or CSS codenCreating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practicesnMeeting with Team members to discuss website design and function.nDesigning, building, and addressing upgrades to the website front-end.nCreating/maintaining the website architecture.nResearching different software programs, maintaining software documentationnMaintaining and expanding/enhancing the web application/user interface oncenGathering information, experience, and lessons-learned to document and increase efficiency of web application/user interface development processes.nnEducation and Experience requirements:nnBS Computer Science or equivalent field.
