Position: Surgical Technologist

Location: 1100 Central Ave. SE Albuquerque, NM 87106

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 12x3=36 Hours or 10x4= 40 Hours Varied shift

Weekly Pay Range: $2500-$3000

Scrubs on general surgical procedures.

Prepares operating room by setting up table, instruments, and supplies according to type of surgery.

Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Displays cost-consciousness in the opening of sterile supplies and in the care and handling of surgical instruments.

Please respond to emergent situations according to established procedures and notify the right people.

Makes necessary supply deliveries to the unit and ancillary departments.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Certified Surgical technologist for state of NM

BLS required. PALS and ACLS are preferred. If obtained, BLS, (ACLS, and PALS) must be completed through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or the American Red Cross.

EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Candidate must be able to scrub and Ortho, ENT and Transplant experience a plus
