Our client, a leading electrical manufacturer, is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join their team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth throughout your territory, building and maintaining lasting customer relationships, and promoting our extensive range of electrical products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with customers through regular communication, site visits, and exceptional customer service. Act as a trusted advisor and resource for their electrical needs.
- Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored product and service recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product innovations, and pricing to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to clients.
- Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations, proposals, and contracts to secure sales opportunities.
- Work closely with the inside sales team to fulfill customer orders.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, while consistently expanding the customer base and increasing revenue.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and progress using CRM software. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 6+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in the electrical distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, including wiring, lighting, switchgear, and related components.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent client visits.
