As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated litigation attorney to join our team and advocate for justice on behalf of our clients.

Position Overview:

As a litigation attorney with our firm, you will play a critical role in representing injured individuals in complex personal injury cases. You will be responsible for all stages of litigation, from new client onboarding to trial, while working closely with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping individuals secure the justice and compensation they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from initial client consultation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents.
• Depose witnesses, parties, and experts to build strong cases for trial.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare and argue pre-trial and trial motions, as necessary.
• Maintain client communication, providing updates and counseling them on case status and critical case updates.
• Collaborate with the firm's team to develop trial strategies and case plans.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Louisiana (in good standing).
• 3–5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for personal injury experience.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
• Client-centered approach with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings statewide.
