Office Manager/Bookkeeper

  • Provide accurate and efficient bookkeeping services for a growing business using QuickBooks online
  • Prepare payroll data for and collaborate with our accounting firm to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Assist with HR functions, including new hire paperwork, tracking PTO requests, and maintaining employee files
  • Greet customers, answer incoming phone calls, and respond to emails, providing the top-tier customer service our company is known for
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, ordering office supplies, and document management
  • Organize company events, including meetings and team functions.

Stoltzfus Hardwoods provides premium Appalachian hardwood lumber to craftsmen and wood suppliers locally and worldwide. Our kiln-dried hardwood lumber is used in the cabinetry, furniture, molding, and hardwood flooring industries. Our goal is to develop relationships with our customers, to help them grow, and to grow along with them.


We are looking for an experienced office manager/bookkeeper to join our team to provide general accounting/bookkeeping services and ensure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.


Our Ideal Office Manager/Bookkeeper:

  • Experienced: 5 years of office management/administrative experience. At least 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
  • Self-motivated: A self-starter who takes initiative in their work. Takes a proactive approach to address needs and find solutions.
  • Computer Savvy: Experience with QuickBooks Online or another bookkeeping/accounting software. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate: Able to work with minimal mistakes and pay close attention to detail.
  • Organized: We are looking for someone to work with, improve our existing processes, and create new ones.
  • Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to contribute to the team and build positive relationships with others.
  • Trustworthy: Understand the importance of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and payroll data.


What we offer our Office Manager/Bookkeeper:

  • $25-30 per hour – depending on experience and background
  • Full-time Schedule (M – F; 7 AM - 3 PM or 8 AM – 4 PM)
