We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Administrative Assistant. This position will be working for one of the leading Real Estate Investment firms in the Irvine area. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive process improvements. This role requires a detail-oriented approach, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring efficient and safe building operations. This role is a direct hire opportunity to start immediately.
Salary: $70K-$80K + bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering operations process oversight and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to established engineering administration processes.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, local laws, and codes.
- Oversee and/or conduct regular audits.
- Provide administrative and operations support for Building Engineers.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure they are executed effectively.
- Oversee and support technology solutions that track, support, and monitor building equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to technology solutions.
- Supervise and train engineering administrative staff and ensure consistency in processes at the regional level.
- Manage relationships with existing consultants and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and consultants.
- Prepare and present reports on engineering administration activities and compliance status.
- Maintain accurate records of audits, compliance checks, and process improvements.
- Identify potential risks related to building systems and engineering processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Additional duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of prior work experience in corporate or building operations, property management or commercial real estate.
- 2+ years experience in a leadership, supervisory or management role.
- Undergraduate degree in related field (preferred).
- Technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, mechanical, HVAC (preferred).
- Exhibits critical thinking, planning and problem solving.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
