Role Overview: The Producer is responsible for the production and client management of assigned agency projects. This includes ensuring that projects are executed on time, on budget, while aligned with client expectations. This role reports to the Director of Production and is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in our Brooklyn, NY office. This role may be paired with more Senior production team members as projects require.
Capabilities and Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of experiential production experience
- Experience owning, leading, and managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead a project from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Excellent project management, organizational, delegation, and prioritization skills
- Strong account and client management skills, with prior experience leading and managing client communications
- Experience managing budgets ranging from <$100K to $500K+
- A network of trusted vendors both locally and nationally
- Experience and exposure to custom fabrication
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, both internally and externally
- Professional when handling and working with all clients
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strategic project-related decision-making abilities
- Proactive, solution-oriented, self-starter
- Ability to work collaboratively with creatives and other departments
- Ability to travel for projects as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with support where necessary
- Lead day-to-day production and client management on assigned projects, working with internal and external teams as necessary
- Lead internal and external status meetings, weeklies, site visits, internal milestone meetings, and post-mortems; create agendas and recaps as needed
- Attend and lead external client status calls and meetings, and key internal production meetings (kick-off, midpoint, and final meetings)
- Create and manage key documents in real-time, including but not limited to timelines, project budgets, creative decks, production schedules, and other necessary documents
- Secure client approvals in writing for all deliverables
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams on assigned projects
- Collaborate with internal and freelance creatives as project needs require
- Develop and maintain key client relationships, listening for future opportunities
- Review vendor contracts, flagging issues to legal/operations as needed
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions as requested
- Manage and track profitable budgets based on agency targets, reconciling against the P&L upon completion
- Recognize potential conflicts or obstacles in advance, have contingency plans prepared, and find alternate solutions as necessary
- Work with the internal team to plan social media usage and marketing/press in advance of execution
- Create and contribute to post-project wrap-up documents and recaps
- Attend weekly budget and project status meetings to review the status of active projects and closeouts
- Attend monthly full-team production meetings led by Supervisor
- Attend new business briefings and pitches as requested
- Utilize internal systems including time tracking, project management, and expense management software according to Operations department deadlines
Salary Range: $70K-$110K
