As a Senior Advisor on the Technology, Cyber and Data Risk Management team at National Bank, you’ll act as a specialist in support of the implementation of the Bank’s risk management strategy. This role will enable you to have a positive impact on the organization by taking charge of risk governance for the 2nd line of defence.
Your roleContribute to the development and implementation of a risk management training and awareness program for the organizationUpdate policies, standards, processes and methods for managing technology, cyber and data risks in line with the operational risk strategy outlined by the Technology and Cyber Risk Management sectorDefine risk appetite and the associated taxonomyMonitor risk management activities related to technology, cyber and data risk management processesEnsure regulatory monitoring of risks and make sure internal processes and controls are consistentParticipate in defining performance indicators for the Technology and Cyber Risk Management sectorAct as a trusted specialist for stakeholders in terms of technology, cyber and data risk governanceHelp manage relationships with regulatorsAnticipate needs and make sure the methods and alignments necessary to achieve our shared objectives are in placePrerequisitesUniversity degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience in technology and/or cybersecurity and/or data risk managementKnowledge of information technology and cybersecurity governance in large-scale organizationsExperience in managing a number of projects and initiatives simultaneouslyHigh level of personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential matters in a professional manner while demonstrating an appropriate level of judgement and maturityCritical thinking and synthesis skillsCertifications in cybersecurity and technology risk management (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP)
