Job Description

Transaction Specialists are an integral team with direct influence on the successful progression of MD7 and our Clients.


A Transaction Specialist prepares complex easement agreements and lease amendments on behalf of MD7 and our digital infrastructure clients. Transaction Specialists work with the sales team, internal and external legal, and title vendors to complete real estate transactions in a timely manner. Transaction Specialists utilize multiple software systems for document generation and workflow management. Transaction Specialists work closely with Clients in addition to internal teammates such as Project Managers, Inside Sales Specialists, Site Acquisition Managers, Project Control Specialists and more, within a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.


Preparing Lease and Easement Documents

  • Including reviewing existing lease documents in comparison with newly negotiated terms, confirming client and landlord information, and drafting agreements.


Coordinating Easement Packages

  • Including compiling documents for execution, routing documents to multiple parties for signature, and scanning/uploading executed documents into various document management systems.


Daily Client Interface

  • Including working with client project teams and their legal team to review proposed deal terms and obtain client approval.


Daily Internal Team Interface

  • Including (but not limited to) working with Project Managers and Inside Sales Specialists to produce results with impeccable accuracy and quick turnarounds at high volume.


Utilization of Computer Systems

  • Including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications, MD7’s internal data housing system, and the Client’s data housing systems.


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Transaction Specialists handle our real estate transactions from A to Z. They are on the front end of the agreement, working with the sales team and property owners to set up the transaction. They are also working on the backend obtaining approvals, working through redlines, and ultimately closing a successful deal.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Command the natural ability to follow guidelines, processes, and maintain workflow management.
  • Have an astute understanding of sentence structure and rules of grammar.
  • Carry exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a strong integral compass.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Real Estate concepts is a bonus.
