Directly collaborating with and supporting the CFO of this $300MM global distributor of 'household name' consumer products - brand names which you will quickly recognize sold through mass channel retailers globally. You will hold direct ownership of all generalist Human Resources facets for all of our 75 employees, located at our new corporate offices which open January 1st. No bureaucracy, no politics, no ego, no roadblocks to getting things achieved - a very focused, cohesive Team of accomplished leaders. Proactively serving as an employee and business champion, and as a true leader in the mission to further rapidly grow the business. A direct participant in making the difference, you will interact with and effect all levels of leadership in the company. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and lead initiatives to strengthen all facets of the enterprise. Not just an "HR job", you will cross all lines in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital and overall business advisor to the executive management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create platforms you deem called for in building additional advantages to the business.
- Grow and coach leaders as we continue to grow our market share and the power of our brands.
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to secure and retain top talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or business management
- 7+ years' of professional HR experience, with making the difference - not just doing a 'function'.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - of course!
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work with an ingrained sense of passion in teaming together to achieve growth - and preventing non-value-added steps to success. OWN THE PROBLEM AND SHARE THE SUCCESS.....

This role calls for presence at our corporate offices in Rosemont on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - which are key strategy days. You may work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week.
