Job Description

Sabai Thai seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead and inspire our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees, directs, and coordinates the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve goals in sales, cost management, employee retention, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the team to provide guests with consistently excellent and memorable service.
  • Actively monitor and respond to guest feedback, enhancing experiences and fostering loyalty.
  • Offer ongoing, constructive feedback to ensure the team excels in service and meets business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Chef and kitchen staff to align culinary creativity with business strategies.
  • Mentor team members, offering opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
  • Skillfully balance everyday operations and strategic planning, prioritizing both immediate and long-term business needs.
  • Create a streamlined operational structure with defined roles and clear goals to increase efficiency.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive guest traffic and build brand awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements to uphold operational excellence.
  • Lead by example, embodying the values and culture of Sabai Thai in all interactions with staff and guests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • English fluency is required.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

  • Annual salary of $90,000–$110,000.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and holidays.
  • The above represents the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
