This ideal candidate will lead to find, contact, and follow-up with active and prospective clients located in Central and Western Kentucky. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our products’ technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate technical concepts to all prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

• Clearly articulate technical capabilities
• Partner with the sales team to generate and qualify leads
• Find and maintain prospective clients
• Provide general technical support to clients

Qualifications:

• Ability to discuss technical concepts with prospective leads
• Willingness to travel
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Sales experience selling to following markets for: Large commercial building facility end users, MEP consultants and contractors including HVAC/BAS, hot water and natural gas utilities, and building safety integrity; Industrial facility end users, consultants, and contractors including process controls and instrumentation for process and utility piping, tubing, and tank heating, hot water and gases; Natural gas utilities including flow control equipment, precision gas measurement, monitoring, and data management
• 4-year bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree preferred, not required

Job Type: Full-time

Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Reviewing P&ID's: 1 year (Preferred)
• 2-D Piping Plans and Drawings and 3-D Models: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electro-Mechanical Specifications for Control & Monitoring Systems: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
• Work Location: Remote Home Office, Relcon Headquarters, and Client / Site Visits to facility end users, A&E Consultants, Contractors, and Distributors
