Our client, an industry leader that specializes in Commercial Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager with local experience to join their team based out of their Phoenix, AZ office. Experience in preconstruction and project pursuit is required. This person will work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Estimating and Operations to pursue, win and manage the preconstruction portion of new commercial projects. This is a very independent position with many cross-functional responsibilities and a noteworthy percentage of time spent out of the office.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years commercial construction Project Management / Estimating experience
• 2+ years of preconstruction
• Thorough understanding of JOC / CMAR / DB contract process
• Strong business development skills
• Strong technical writing skills
• Ability to lead projects from pursuit through preconstruction
• Experience in HCSS, P6, and Microsoft Office

Compensation:

• $150K-180K base salary

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure compliance with blueprints and schematics.
• Support business development efforts by providing technical writing and project management expertise.
