Trusts and Estates Legal Administrative Assistant


Evolve Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Legal Assistant to join the dynamic Estates, Trusts, and Probate practice group at a prestigious law firm. This role offers a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will make a direct impact on client success.


Position Overview:

As a Trust & Estate Legal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to attorneys while delivering exceptional client service. This position is ideal for professionals with at least 5 years of experience , looking to grow within a firm renowned for its high standards and expertise.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing administrative support to attorneys in the Trusts and Estates practice group.
  • Preparing and processing legal documents related to trusts and estates, including wills, trust agreements, and powers of attorney.
  • Managing and organizing client files, both electronic and paper, to ensure all documents are easily accessible and up to date.
  • Assisting with the administration of estates, including preparing probate documents and managing court filings.
  • Coordinating and scheduling client meetings, appointments, and court appearances.
  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence, legal documents, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals involved in trust and estate matters.
  • Tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks related to trust and estate administration.
  • Maintaining billing records and assisting with client billing processes.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and other correspondence.
  • Answering, screening, directing, and placing telephone calls and emails.


What You Need for this Position

  • At least 3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in trusts and estates law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with legal research tools and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of probate and trust administration procedures.
  • Strong client service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Physical attendance at the place of work.
