Kelly Science is seeking a Laboratory Technician opportunity for a growing biotechnology company located in Beverly, MA.

Pay: $25-29/hour depending on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

Job responsibilities include:

• Conduct experiments for product development of new membrane filters.
• Utilize UV-VIS for quantification of proteins in samples.
• Handle biological samples including human blood (prescreened for pathogens).
• Collect, analyze and record data accurately in laboratory notebooks and databases.
• Assist in method development and method optimizations for new testing methods and protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to data analysis, project reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, microbiology or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on experience with pipetting, micro pipetting and handling biological samples strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work well into a team setting, and have strong attention to detail.
