* High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II or III certification
* Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
* Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations
* Experience with VMware
* Familiarity with VDI technologies and protocols
* Experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM
* Experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019
* Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10 SHB)
* Active clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* RedHat desktop operating systems (RHEL 7/8) experience highly desired

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a System Admin to join one of our clients in San Diego, CA. This position will be located on Point Loma Base. The candidate will work in close coordination with other team members and departments to update, monitor and maintain servers and workstations used throughout the enterprise. Additional duties include performing Microsoft Windows server administration, manage GPOs, create/modify DHCP reservations, patching and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Individual must be able to work independently and work within a team.
Compensation: $40/hr to $48/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
