ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit A leading healthcare facility in Florida is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our award-winning critical care team. Essential Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services to high-acuity patients
- Perform complex clinical assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Serve as primary patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide detailed patient/family education regarding medications and treatments
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Document all care delivery according to hospital protocols
- Maintain continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications: - Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications: - BSN degree
- Previous ICU experience
- CCRN certification (must obtain within 2 years)
