Altru Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg/PCU/ICU Pathway. This full-time position offers 36 hours of work per week, with weekend and rotating shifts available.

Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from $32.19 to $48.28 per hour, along with potential additional earnings of up to $4.25 per hour in differential pay and shift pick-up incentives.

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional direct nursing care while adhering to established policies and procedures. You will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, offering education, and ensuring safe patient discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality customer service and meet patient needs.
- Create patient-centered care plans after thorough assessments.
- Conduct regular assessments, set goals, and implement appropriate nursing actions.
- Monitor patients for signs of distress and initiate emergency response as necessary.
- Document observations and communications accurately with the interdisciplinary team.
- Begin discharge planning early, providing education suited to patient needs.
- Delegate nursing interventions appropriately within the scope of practice.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the department.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days)
- Temporary RN license accepted prior to start if applicable
