Truck Driver Class B CDLnnE. Armata Inc. is looking for a dependable and organized Class B truck driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina. Someone who can work long hours on the road and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.nnResponsibilitiesnnInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancennPlan routes and meet delivery schedulesnnComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresnnManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsnnCollect and verify delivery instructionsnnReport defects, accidents or violationsnnDelivering merchandise via tractor-trailernnLoading and unloading productnnMaintaining daily log and keeping all paperwork organized.nnAttention to detail and ensuring all product is accounted for.nnFilling up on fuel, and clean truck as required and needednnReporting to Traffic Manager any incidents encountered on or off the road incidents.nnInspecting the trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects.nnKeep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.nnMust have an open schedule and be able to work as needed.nnRequirements:nnApplicant must have a minimum of 5 years experience driving as a CDL Class B driver.nnCDL Class B driver’s license must be in good standing.nnHands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc).nnMedical DOT Card must be up to date and active.nnAbility to drive long hours and travel regularly.nnExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.nnNo recent moving or driving violations.nnAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).nnFlexible to support the need of the business.nnAbility to communicate effectively and follow direction.nnMust be self-motivated and a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.nnAbility to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention.nnBenefit Conditions:nnOnly full-time employees eligiblennCOVID-19 Precaution(s):nnSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placennThis Job Is:nnOpen to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GEDnnA job for which all ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to applynnOpen to applicants who do not have a college diplomannTrucking freight handling:nnUsing pallet jack/forkliftnnType of Freight:nnReefernnTrucking route:nnTristatennWork RemotelynnNonnJob Type: Full-timennPay: $24.00 per hour
