As we continue to add the most advanced, high technology scanners to our fleet, we are looking for amazing Sonographers to join our team. Our Sonographers produce high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology, procedure protocol, and the American College of Radiology. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.nnAbility to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Ultrasound Sonographer experience preferred.nnRegistry-eligible candidates must be ARDMS registered in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 month of employment (RVT preferred first) and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment. Third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) completed within 18 months of employment. Employees that provide breast imaging are required to obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency. Employees hired for a role specific to vascular sonography, who are not eligible to apply for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from the requirement of obtaining these registries.nnExemption StatusnnNonexemptnnCompensation DetailnnCompensation range is $35.99 - $53.94 / hournnBenefits EligiblennYesnnSchedulennPart TimennHours/Pay Periodnn40nnSchedule DetailsnnMonday-Friday 8 or 10 hour shifts, 7:00am - 5:00pm, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm. Call is assigned as a rotation with weeknights starting at 5:00pm - 7:00am.nnWeekend SchedulennOn call every 8th weekend starting Friday at 5pm through Monday at 7am. Holiday call is assigned on a rotation between all staff.
