Senior eDiscovery Case Manager
Location Address: Remote -open to candidates in Canada (quarterly meeting on-site is mandatory for candidates close to the location including Ottawa)

Business group: eDiscovery & Litigation Operations Support team
Projects:
- The Senior eDiscovery Case Manager is responsible for the identification, collection, preservation, and production of evidence in support of administrative action, compliance and ombudsman investigations, and legal prosecution.
- You will work collaboratively with the Legal Department, external counsel, third parties, and vendors to ensure all accompanying eDiscovery activities are fulfilled.
- Additional accountabilities include maintaining project documentation and providing technical guidance to the Legal Department and external counsel (if necessary).
- The Senior eDiscovery Case Manager effectively executes activities and tasks supporting the identification, collection, and preservation of court-ordered evidence, maintains a working environment that ensures the forensic viability of evidence during the gathering and processing of information systems and electronically stored information, and acts as a liaison between with technical teams, internal and external counsel, and management to assess and troubleshoot a variety of technical issues.
Must Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in security, legal or project manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• You have a strong and constant approach to critical thinking, data analytics and problem solving while maintaining both a creative and detailed orientation to job and team accountabilities.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Demonstrate a current and working knowledge of digital forensic principles/methodologies/techniques, and of Information Security best-practices, methodologies, and techniques.
• Demonstrate a current and working knowledge of data management, information governance, and project management.
• You will have 5+ years working experience in all aspects of eDiscovery and Litigation Operations
GISF, CISSP, ACEDS certifications will be an asset.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
• A candidate who has E-discovery experience will stand out to the manager. The next best will be security, legal or project management experience.
