Talent Healthcare Staffing Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Everett, Washington.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: 01/27/2025Duration: 12 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: Travel Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:\tMeeting with expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care for normal and problematic pregnancies.\tTeaching childbirth preparation classes.\tProviding information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women.\tMonitoring fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.\tCoaching women, assisting with any complications and administering medications during birth.\tPerforming tests on newborns after birth.\tProviding guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and infant care.\tUsing equipment and administering medications related to labor, delivery, and the care of newborns.Qualifications:\tAn associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.\tA registered nursing licence.\tA willingness to continue nursing and obstetric training.\tOver 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery.\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\tAbility to work under intense pressure and stress.\tFlexibility to work shifts and remain on-call for emergency situations.Certs Required: \tACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS Talent Healthcare Staffing Inc Job ID #24480024.
