Job Description
Job Title: Cardiopulmonary Therapist
Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Job Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Certifications: BLS required; PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Minimum 2 years current NICU and/or PICU experience
Job Description:
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients.
- Work in a fast-paced hospital environment, including NICU and PICU units.
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and ventilatory support.
- Flexible to float within the facility and support alternate locations within 20 miles as needed.
- Certification in BLS required, along with PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred, all through recognized organizations.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
- Work includes weekends, holidays, on-call duties, and traveling pairs not guaranteed same shifts.
- Orientation during the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 hours, including EPIC training.
- Scrubs are required and must be provided by the candidate.
