Department/Unit: Elective Orthopedics - B3W

Work Shift: Day

Job Summary:

• Provides compassionate care to post-surgical patients in the elective orthopedics unit
• Implements physician orders, administers medications, and performs treatments
• Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs
• Delivers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with current NYS RN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
