Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and maintain credentials with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as well as licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Must have one (1) specialty credential (i.e. RRT-ACCS, NPS, RPFT, RPSGT, LNFA) or obtain within six (6) months of becoming a Senior Respiratory Therapist. Must maintain specialty credential while classified as a Senior Respiratory Therapist. Must have current BLS and ACLS.nnJob Description:nnPossesses experience and is highly knowledgeable and skilled in respiratory care and assessment. Provides competent basic and specialty care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and individualizing care to meet unique patient needs. Able to manage unexpected emergency situations effectively.
