Emergency Medicine Physician - Southwest Florida | $210/hr - Near Punta Gorda
Seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our thriving healthcare facility located in beautiful Southwest Florida. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance with competitive compensation and the opportunity to practice in a modern, well-equipped emergency department.
Position Overview

• Full-time emergency medicine position at a 15-bed emergency department
• Annual patient volume of 15,000 visits
• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)
• Contractor status (1099) with excellent hourly compensation

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Perform medical screenings and emergency assessments
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and support staff
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
• Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Current ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
