If your goals and values align with Honda’s, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future Location Raymond, Ohio Job Purpose Responsibility for software development for manufacturing applications and communications, production equipment user interface and data collection, and supporting software management systems. Key Accountabilities Modify/create software to be used for manufacturing applications or machine interfaces Plugin or Driver software development to integrate into existing OEM factory applications Coordination with regional and global members to determine software specifications Documentation and Manual creation for software deployments and their functions Data collection of various factory data to aggregate into software platforms for analytics Support technical issues across all NA plants models and some emergency spot support Debug/verify software in virtual environment or with simulation tools Improve methods for software development and verification to improve software quality Maintain schedule for software development Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent job experience with software programming 2yrs of programming/software development experience C#, .NET Core & Framework, C++, Visual Basic, Python, IT Network communication, MQTT, React, Agile workflow, advanced software validation Workstyle Majority of work will be office/PC related with no specific physical requirements, 5-10hrs/wk OT on occasion Some travel to NA plants (2-3 trips/yr possible) for direct plant support/coordination with Regional plant members Japan travel (1x/yr) possible dependent on specific assignments What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
