My client, a construction company is looking for an HR Generalist who is bilingual (Spanish/English). This is a full-time, on-site and direct hire position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Restructure and build the department from the ground up, establishing a strong foundation for success.
- Develop and lead the team, ensuring the right personnel are in place and aligned with department needs.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring processes are efficient and effective.
- Review and identify issues in existing workflows, then develop and implement improvements to optimize performance.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the department’s overall functioning, making necessary changes from top to bottom to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally at a construction company
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Bilingual in Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Familiarity with HR Vista from Viewpoint is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to lead change, drive improvements, and maintain a high-performing team.
The salary is $75,000-$85,000 per year. Hours are 8am-5pm with some flexibility.
