Elevate Community Center ("Elevate") is a non-profit legal aid organization located in Santa Clara, CA, renowned for its commitment to serving low-income individuals and families. Elevate provides legal services in general civil litigation, including but not limited to domestic violence/family law, criminal record clearance, tenants' rights, legal services for small businesses, and general civil litigation. Elevate was recognized as 2023 "Nonprofit of the Year" by the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits, and received Santa Clara University School of Law's 2024 Diversity and Inclusion Award.

Job Description:

Elevate seeks a dedicated and passionate attorney to join its dynamic team. This position offers the attorney ample opportunities for court appearances, extensive client interaction, and the chance to present legal information and conduct workshops for public stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging and fast-paced work environment, demonstrating eagerness to learn, receptiveness to feedback, and high organizational skills. Key responsibilities include providing legal representation and advice, managing a varied caseload, and contributing to the firm's mission of delivering superior legal services to underserved communities.

Elevate attorneys generally work across all of our practice areas (domestic violence/family law, criminal record clearance, tenants' rights, legal services for small businesses, and general civil litigation). Prior experience not required, but  strong willingness to learn is essential.

• Licensed to practice in California.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range: $72,000 - $115,000, based on experience.
