Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $35.00/hr
- Location: Deer Park, TX
- Work Schedule: 10/4 rotation
- Assignment Duration: Long-term to direct

- Requirements: Must have strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, repair, and replacement of pumps, motors, mechanicals seals, gearboxes, compressors, and other rotating equipment. Align and balance rotating equipment using precision tools and techniques
- Dismantle, rebuild, and install machinery and subcomponents to ensure smooth operation
- Address the existing backlog of PM tasks, focusing on equipment reliability to break the reactive maintenance cycle
- Execute tasks such as pump replacements, shaft alignments, bearing inspections, and lubrication of machinery
- Support the demo and replacement of deteriorated pump assemblies and components
- Respond to emergency call-outs to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly, ensuring production continuity
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment, identify root causes, and execute corrective actions efficiently. Document all repairs and downtime events accurately
- Perform rigging, moving, and installation of heavy equipment using cranes, hoists, and rigging tools
- Install new equipment, ensuring proper foundation, alignment, and secure fastening
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and compliance with plant safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards
- Work closely with the maintenance manager and operations team to prioritize tasks and align maintenance efforts with plant goals
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime
- Assist in identifying areas for mechanical and operational improvements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Millwright in an industrial or chemical plant environment, with a strong emphasis on rotating equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with precision tools for alignment, vibration analysis, and measurements
- Ability to respond to call-outs , work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
