IT Project Manager – PTC Windchill+ PLM Implementation

Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid for local candidates, remote + travel to Troy 1 week every other month)

Contract Duration: 24 Months


About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of PTC Windchill+ (the latest cloud version) and integrate it with AutoCAD and Oracle Fusion ERP. This role requires expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, Product Family Architecture (PFA) concepts, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across North America and Canada.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise-wide PLM transformation programs, focusing on PTC Windchill+ implementation.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PLM roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, product development, purchasing, costing, and IT departments.
  • Oversee complex digital transformation projects, including PLM integration with AutoCAD MEP CAD, ERP, CPQ, and other systems.
  • Define and manage program scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Develop and review detailed Statements of Work (SOW) documents.
  • Lead data migration and system integration strategies.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, with a strong focus on PLM software.
  • Proven success managing multiple end-to-end PTC Windchill+ implementations and upgrades.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD MEP and knowledge of Product Family Architecture (PFA) concepts.
  • Strong background in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
