Required Skills & Experience

• 4-6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar
• Extensive experience with Firewalls and VLANs
• 4+ years of experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar
• 3+ years of experience with Network Segmentation, Network access control (NAC), Zero Trust Networking Access
• Experience with the Cloud or eagerness to work in a hybrid Azure environment
• Familiar with Security principles around Networking

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Cloud Networking Experience, Azure Preferred.
• Experience with fortiSASE, FortiNAC, FortiAnalyzer, Fortiextender
• Experience with Cisco blades and switches

Job Description

A client in the PNW is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to join their team! This role is a permanent direct hire position that would be hybrid onsite. In this role, you will be working on a team of System and Network Engineers. We are looking for a generalist to join the team and work on project-type work. As a Sr. Network Engineer each day will look a bit different and there is an opportunity to learn and grow as an individual. The technology stack of this company consists of, but is not limited to: Windows, Azure, VMware, Fortinet, PowerShell, Storage, Active Directory, and Cisco. In this position, you will primarily work with Fortinet Firewalls, VLANs, Network Segmentation, and keep security principles in mind.
