Responsibilities

• Provide backup and support to logistics team in vessel/rail/barge and product management team.
• Follow market developments, prices, supply, demands, logistics, etc.
• Develop knowledge of inland marine logistics, including mile points of ports, fleets, and related operations.
• Acquire knowledge of inland rail logistics, focusing on Class 1 railroads, rail line switches, railcar maintenance, and other key aspects.
• Assist in streamlining and automating manual tasks between Excel and the ERP system.
• Assist in the position reports and position report comments.
• Assist and provide backup for all logistics-related sale processes (contracts/Navision/vendor/etc.).
• As well as all other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint)
• Extensive experience in Excel is required.
• Background in agriculture is preferred but not required.
• Navision/SAP is preferred but not required
