The Hospital

This hospital predominantly see cats and dogs but do have exotic patients if you are interested in practicing exotic medicine. The hospital is used by the Long Island Veterinary School for undergraduate veterinarians and Vet Techs so they have a very high standard of care and practice a very high standard of progressive medicine. The hospital is one of the best equipped hospitals in the Long Island area. They have 5 exam rooms, inhouse lab (Idexx), On site pharmacy, well equipped dental suit. They are New York State Accredited and practice fear free. They do all their own ultrasounds and they like to work up their own cases. They have access to a ER and Specialty hospital who they have a great relationship with. The successful candidate would only work their scheduled hours and would have NO after hours work. All Vet Techs are trained to a high standard and you will have a good support network when seeing your patients. The schedule for this hospital would be 4 day work week Monday-Friday (No weekends)
