TalentWealth Recruiting , a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisor practice with over $300MM AUM based in Melville, NY is hiring a Practice Manager to their growing team. This position is 100% in-office Monday-Friday. This wealth management firm does also work with insurance in addition to investments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities would be:
- Manage support staff and the office in general.
- Monitor support staff, improve processes, and ensure staff is following the proper processes and procedures.
- Assist with support staff duties as needed during peak times.
- Assist with and ensure organization of practice's marketing efforts.
- Work directly under the practice owner and drive forward any special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in client service with an RIA or financial advisory practice or insurance-focused practice
- Knowledge of financial services, investments industry, life insurance and annuities
- Polished and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication is required
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong initiative and work ethic
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours if necessary to complete core responsibilities
- Prior experience as a practice or operations manager, or someone that is trained to take on that role.
