Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing secretarial and data management support for the SCH Inpatient Pediatrics, Pediatric Short Stay, and Pediatric Specialty Clinic utilizing Microsoft Office and available software packages. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers. Abides by Health Work Environment principles established by Care Center.
Schedule

• Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm (flexible), no weekends or holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $19.42 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $19.42 - $29.14 per hour

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 years at a minimum of general office experience.
• Working knowledge of personal computer and general office equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Secretarial training program beyond high school with completed training in word processing and knowledge of the database function preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office software packages preferred, i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skills in grammar, spelling, composition, and punctuation.
• Good communication skills.
• Typing skills of 75wpm or greater.
• Shorthand, speedwriting, or lap top at 90-100 words per minute.
