Responsible in creating weekly breast procedure patient charts, ensuring all demographics, required orders, H&P and necessary prior images are received and information is entered correctly and completely. Maintain and prioritize patient scheduling spreadsheet and ensure that all empty slots on the schedule remain full. Answer phones. Schedule Breast Procedures and other Breast Exams as needed. Daily patient reminders for Diagnostic Breast Exams. Schedule patients and others requests for future appointments. Request/Push imaging via electronic interfaces and upload and/or export prior imaging when needed Maintain and stock all office supplies and forms needed for daily operations. Handle a variety of other administrative tasks as needed within the department. Experience with EMR, Cerner, Athena, Powershare, PACS a plus.
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- BLS -Basic Life Support Required (can obtain on campus)
- At least 1 year experience in healthcare/medical practice. Scheduling experience a plus.
