Job Description: The Customer Service Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely order entry to support daily product shipments. This position involves managing a high volume of orders while collaborating with a busy team to meet operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: - Process 60-75+ daily orders accurately to meet shipping schedules.
- Review and verify purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Handle order requests primarily via email inbox (minimal phone interaction, about 25%).
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently divide and complete incoming orders.
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of customer service and order entry experience in a corporate, product-focused environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems, particularly AS400, is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
- Able to work onsite in Arlington Heights every day.
Additional Details: - Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Normal business hour, no weekends!
