RN – Inpatient Children’s Behavioral Health Unit in Mansfield Center, CT weekly Gross - $2,426.00 Shift - (5x8 hrs.) Evenings Start date - 01/13/2025 The Inpatient Children’s Unit provides a safe and secure environment for children and adolescents aged 5 to 17 requiring acute inpatient care for behavioral health treatment. Requirements:Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric experience with the child-adolescent population preferred.Certifications: CPI, AHA BLS/CPR (hospital willing to provide on-site training).Licensure: Active CT RN license required.Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree accepted. Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs, including mood disorders, disruptive mood dysregulation disorders, suicidal ideation, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADD/ADHD.Ensure patient safety and well-being through appropriate care planning and intervention.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized treatment plans.Document care accurately in the EPIC EMR system.Support facility needs by floating to the adult unit when required.
