Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Surgical Technologist-OR” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in San Antonio, TX. Job Description:

Job Title: Surgical Technologist-OR

Location: San Antonio, TX

Schedule: 40 hrs/week

Shift: 5x8 Days (8 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1900.00- $2000.00 Weekly DOE

Overview:

We are looking for a qualified surgical technologist to assist with the operations in our facility. You will be tasked with preparing and sterilizing the operating rooms, as well as the necessary equipment and instruments, prior to any surgical procedure. You will also be charged with preparing the patients for surgery and help provide a great patient experience overall.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with direct patient care and OR preparation under nurse supervision.

Proficiently scrub in at least three specialties (e.g., transplants, open heart, robotics).

Maintain sterile fields and assist physicians during surgeries.

Update and utilize physician preference cards for case preparation.

Ensure a safe, clean, and aseptic surgical environment.

Handle and care for surgical instruments and equipment expertly.

Follow Universal Barrier Precautions for safety.

Comply with policies for decontamination and sterilization.

Adapt care methods to meet diverse patient needs.

Perform additional assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 year preferred.

BLS certification required.

Surgical Technologist Certification (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or LVN/LPN License required.
