The Role:

The AR Finance Associate will be responsible for a full cycle of Accounts Receivable function and administrative tasks and will serve as a backup for Accounts Payable function. Ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence and integrity.

This role is hybrid with 3 days, Monday - Wednesday in the Chelmsford MA office required.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable consistently.
• Process invoices for closed contracts timely and accurate.
• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.
• Reconcile cash accounts daily
• Responsible for cash GL account reconcilation monthly
• Assist other teams as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven Accounts Receivable experience.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Salesforce and Xero experience is plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
