About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key leader in upholding the company's values and philosophy, with a strong focus on ethical conduct and decision-making. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, particularly those related to healthcare. The Vice President of Compliance will be responsible for talent management, development, and recruitment for compliance operations and auditing functions. They will also lead HIPAA Privacy Compliance and act as the company's HIPAA Privacy Officer. The role involves directing the performance of compliance teams, implementing and monitoring the Compliance Work Plan, and maintaining effective lines of communication, including a compliance hotline. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, with a preference for a Juris Doctor or Master's degree with an emphasis on healthcare, and at least 7 years' experience in healthcare compliance.Candidates for the Vice President of Compliance position at the company should possess a graduate degree, with a preference for a Juris Doctor or Master's degree with an emphasis on healthcare, and at least 7 years of experience in healthcare compliance. A strong background in leading compliance or internal audit teams is essential, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a certification in compliance or internal audit and a deep understanding of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, particularly those related to fraud, waste, and abuse. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, project management, and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to articulate complex regulatory information in an understandable manner. The Vice President of Compliance will be expected to be a compliance ambassador, fostering a culture that encourages the reporting of compliance concerns and will be responsible for all facets of compliance investigations and reporting.
