ORDER PICKER
Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, the number one supplier of top-quality flower seeds and non-GMO vegetable seeds for the gardening industry, is now seeking an Order Picker for the Norton, MA facility. This is a non-exempt, full-time position. The Order Picker ensure s the accurate and timely delivery of products throughout our warehouse s .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc.
• Stage the product on pallets for production usage
• Build pallets with orders and position them in queue areas
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Other duties as assigned or needed to assist with workflow and production

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of orders
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks , cherry picker and other warehouse equipment
• Able to read and write in English ; Bilingual helpful
• Diligent and punctual to work each day
• Able to work well with others

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to work long periods standing and walking
• Ability to sustain prolonged physical activity; including lifting up to 50lbs. frequently
• Manufacturing setting with temperature changes and fluctuations
