Summary
The Inventory Control Analyst analyzes and helps maintain inventory accuracy and integrity for Sales Center locations under the supervision of the Assistant Inventory Controller.
Essential Duties
  • Set up and monitor cycle counts and full physical counts.
  • Research all cycle count variances.
  • Research and enter all inventory adjustments from Sales Centers.
  • Monitor all transfers and resolve all transfer variances.
  • Monitor and research all negative on hands.
  • Understand how Inventory activity affects the general ledger.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Inventory Control team as well as the Sales Centers.
  • Excel reporting as requested.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Control or related area (Accounting, Accounts Payable or Purchasing).
  • Dependable and detail oriented, with a high sense of urgency.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime on occasion when necessary.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in AS400 a plus.
  • Wholesale Distribution related experience is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, sit or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • This role is an in-office role based out of the corporate office.
  • Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
