Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to acquire new customers for our OSAT services.
- Generate new leads and guide them through various business development stages, including NDA, promotion, follow-up deep dives, RFQ/quotation, and contracting, culminating in a design award.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of traditional and advanced packaging solutions such as wirebond, flip chip, WLCSP, and 2.5D interposer to understand customers’ technical needs and offer creative solutions that foster engagement opportunities.
- Understand various cost factors in the packaging process to optimize costs and meet customers’ aggressive pricing targets while preserving margins.
- Manage the revenue stream once production starts, including order management, supply chain coordination, and revenue projections.
- Collaborate with internal organizations (Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Headquarters) to coordinate business development efforts.
- Continuously seek industry and customer insights to inform internal roadmaps and offerings.
- Maintain a wide network within the packaging technical and sourcing teams among potential customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering-related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience. An MBA with an Engineering degree is a plus.
- Experience in the semiconductor packaging industry and supply chain in a customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated success in establishing creative partnerships.
- Experience with semiconductor industry supply contracts.
- Proven track record in packaging marketing, sales, or business development roles, with a history of closing complex deals.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated with a strong drive to win.
- Team player with the ability to work across diverse, cross-functional teams spread globally.
- Relationship manager with a vast network and experience working with executives.
