Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Sun Rivers long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications - Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M).
- Valid CPR/ First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
