Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Patient Care Coordinator: - Candidate must have excellent customer service.
- Candidate must have basic computer skills and ready to learn multi-systems within the clinic.
- Assist in performing appropriate evaluations with patients.
- Assist in completing and maintaining patient records/notes that follow current recommended guidelines and compliance procedures through state and federal agencies.
- Ability to coordinate patient care based on the treatment plan directed by the physical therapist and/or chiropractor onsite.
- Ability to act with integrity and meet ethical and moral standards for our team and patients.
Competency Requirements for the Patient Care Coordinator: - Candidates must perform front desk and patient care coordinator duties with purpose and determination to provide the best service possible
- Candidate that is ready to learn and grow as their role expands
Education/Experience: Experience is appreciated but not necessary for job position.
Highschool Diploma/GED Equivalent
Hours of Operation: Full time position with hours of operation: Monday - Friday
Compensation: The Patient Care Coordinator is an hourly position plus incentives. The hourly rate is based on experience but can start with a range of approximately $17.00 to $21.00 per hour. There will be the ability to have the financial outlook grow to a salaried position based on performance. Benefits are accessible with this position.
Work Location/Environment: We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator at our Longview location. This position is onsite.
Physical Demands: - Must be able to assist in the treatment of patients on a daily basis, based on a high-volume practice.
- Perform and demonstrate passive therapies with confidence and knowledge.
- Perform and demonstrate active therapies with confidence and knowledge. (following directions of chiropractor and/or physical therapist onsite)
